Since 1993 in the industry Sven has cut more than 500 commercials, over 150 music videos, 16 feature films and many TV series in a variety of genres.

Sven recently cut Amusement Park's remake of All Quiet On The Western Front for director Edward Berger and is now working on the thriller series Last Light directed by Dennie Gordon (Jack Ryan, Bloodline) starring Matthew Fox.

Before that Sven was asked to edit Studiocanal's Shadowplay for directors Måns Mårlind and Björn Stein (creators of The Bridge). Other series include Netflix's Dark, Skylines and the first five episodes of the multiple award-winning drama series Deutschland ’83 directed by Edward Berger, produced by Niko Hofmann for RTL and the US Sundance Channel.

Feature films include The Physician, starring Tom Payne and Sir Ben Kingsley, The Royal Game, Young Goethe in Love and North Face, all of them for director Philipp Stölzl.

In the last decade Sven has received several awards and nominations: An LIAA for For Boys Who Were Always Men (VW) directed by Steve Miller, a Cannes Bronze Lion for Outtakes (Mc Donald’s) directed by Andreas Hoffmann, a Cannes Silver Lion for The Graduate (Audi) directed by Michael Bay with Dustin Hoffman reprising his seminal role, a VDW Award nomination for Memorable Moments - Paul Potts (Deutsche Telekom) directed by Cadmo Quintero and Painter (Hornbach) directed by Robert Jitzmark as well as a Best Commercial VDW Award for Revolución (Renault Dacia) directed by Markus Walter.

In 2015 he was nominated for the German Film Award in Gold for his craft in film editing for STEREO directed by Maximilian Erlenwein.

Sven is also member of the European Film Academy (EFA), The German Film Academy (Deutsche Filmakademie), Bundesverband Film Editor (BFS) and Deutsche Werbefilm Akademie (DWA).

His enthusiasm for storytelling big or small is matched only by his love for movies and their music, his exceptional technical expertise on how to achieve an emotional response and an extensive joy of open-hearted laughing.
